Honey & Bell Photography

North of Canada Brass Quintet

This session was a breath of fresh air.  I love my couples, families, newborns and all but it was so nice to give my eyes some visual variety. Not to mention, these guys were a blast and really let their personalities come out. They were up to trying anything I said and even had some wild ideas of their own (see last image). We got together a couple weeks ago at one of the members home in Grosse Pointe to get some promotional images for them. Their...

Baby Janes | Maternity

Stefanie and I are both Academic Advisor's at LTU. We probably spend more time together than we do with anyone else in our lives right now.  I cannot be more excited for her and Clavis to welcome a boy into this world next month. I literally screamed for about 30 seconds straight when she told me she was pregnant. ha! We hung out at the Detroit Zoo for their maternity session. One of my favorite places and it included my favorite thing of all...

Phoenix & Nova | Siblings

Hams. Seriously, could these two be any cuter?! Watching Phoenix with his little sister, Nova, reminded me so much of my brother and I growing up together, except I was the older sibling :) There's nothing like a brother & sister bond so this session warmed my heart so much. Enough words, these images are too good.              ...

Jessica & Joe | Maternity

Jessica and Joe are so sweet together. They are going to be lovely parents. My favorite part of this session was watching Jessica's smile and laugh grow louder anytime Joe would talk to her. I have no clue what he was saying half the time but I love when a couple are so natural and in tune to each other. This is the real deal and they are bringing a baby girl into the world within the next week or so. I can't wait to meet their little one. Such an...

Andrew | Newborn

Meet Andrew at just three weeks old. I photographed his parents wedding a few years ago and was so happy when they asked me to document this new chapter in their lives. One of the best parts of being a wedding and family photographer is creating friendships with clients and being part of all of their milestones over the years. Motherhood looks so good on you, Rachel. It's been such a privilege to watch your family grow.  xoxo   ...

Jack | Newborn

I had the honor of photographing my cousin Brian's newborn son, Jack, last week. Growing up Brian and I would play house with our siblings and other cousins. What a wonderful moment to see him as an actual dad. All that practice paid off! Jack has the sweetest wrinkles and raddest hair I've ever seen on a newborn. Congratulations Brian and Anne! Jack is the luckiest to have the both of you. xoxo   ...

Britt & Drew | Engaged

It's always an honor/a little bit of pressure to photograph people you care about so much. Britt is my sister-in-law and I couldn't be any more excited for her to start this journey in her life with Drew. We made a quick stop at Royal Oak Brewery for a drink before heading to Belle Isle to catch some pretty fall colors, a gorgeous sunset and one of the last super warm fall days. This might be my favorite engagement session ever. xoxo ...

Adeline | Six Months

I spent a sunny October afternoon at Wolcott Mills Metropark with Adeline and her parents. The fall colors were absolutely amazing. Except not as amazing as Adeline's giggle. She might be the happiest baby I've ever met. I can just hear her belly laugh in these images. Enjoy!             ...

Pipesh Wedding | Shelby, MI

The joy was felt everywhere in Amanda and Chris' wedding day. Their love radiated through each guest, moment and that gorgeous light all day. They were married in September at the Historic Packard Proving Grounds. What an amazing wedding venue full of so much history. I loved the juxtaposition of them starting a new chapter of their journey together inside those old buildings and grounds. That place has endless possibilities for photos. I'm a sucker for a wedding with so many personal details and a couple with good...
